Rules
All Staff, Patrons, and Discord members must be 21+ both In and Out of Character to access our community spaces. No underage characters are welcome at the bar.
Bigotry has no place in Taste for Tural. Our management team is dedicated to creating a space that fosters discussions and continual growth in areas of anti-racism, anti-transphobia, and anti-ableism within community spaces. As such, we address instances of potentially harmful language or subject matter directly with an open mind and a focus on correcting, learning, and improving. However, overt or repeat offenses are subject to moderator intervention, which may result in a ban.
No harassment in any capacity.
No spam or self-promotion (server invites, advertisements, etc) without permission from a staff member. This includes DMing fellow patrons.
Our venue is SFW. Mature, sensual, and flirty in-character conversations are welcome at the bar but please refrain from displaying ERP on the premises. If things are getting to a certain point in your roleplay, take it elsewhere.
While the theme is inspired by Dawntrail, not everyone is current on content. To avoid ruining others’ fun, keep spoiler talk to a minimum when possible. If you must include game/story spoilers, please try to do so mindfully.

This menu was designed by Theo, a non-POC writer who did their utmost to pick a variety of items from many different real-life Latin cultures. This is not a comprehensive or exhaustive sampling of all the incredible foods and beverages these cultures boast but it is the hope that visitors to T4T find something familiar to enjoy. Several friends of Latin descent were consulted, however, if you have concerns regarding the content of the menu, please feel free to reach out to Theo directly.

We do not ban “politics” or “drama” within our community spaces. The T4T moderation team has historically found such rules are often taken advantage of as a means of silencing marginalized voices who speak up against bigotry within community spaces.
FFXIV and its RP space does not exist in a vacuum and are influenced by the worldviews of its creators. We heartily encourage discussions surrounding sexuality, gender identity, heritage, mental health and etc. as it pertains to your OCs and lived experience. That being said, if discussions turn unproductive or hostile, it may be asked to be moved to private channels or to cease entirely.
The Wild West was rife with racism, colonization, slavery, and severe mistreatment of indigenous peoples. As a community, we must acknowledge this and make ourselves aware that while we embrace a theme and take a light-hearted approach, it does not erase what happened only a few decades prior. A note on Lore Compliance — FFXIV leaves a lot of room for a wide variety of lore interpretations for players to explore in their roleplay. As such, Taste For Tural takes a loose approach to lore so that fun may remain the primary focus over strict lore compliance. “Lore Compliance” may have influenced the creation of some characters, but please be advised bigotry will not be tolerated. While IC tension is welcome with proper OOC communication, this allowance for said tension does not invite your “Lore Compliant” OC to display discriminatory behavior or language to other OCs based on their identity.
As an example: Some may choose to play Garleans. While not every Garlean character is hostile or complicit, certain characters may react negatively to their presence. As both types of characters carry with them nuance, please navigate this dynamic with sensitivity and mindfulness, and be sure to communicate with each other OOC.
While some may welcome this sort of tension in their personal interactions with others in character, please use your better judgement when approaching this type of interaction within our venue and Discord. This does not invite inappropriate reactions to characters who are BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, or disabled. This addendum is not a loophole for bigotry
